A new raglan jersey mordernizing the long cut used in traditional cycling jerseys. After extensive studies in the fields of body mapping and aerodynamics, the new raglan is designed with a combination of different material strategically placed, giving a new look and offering all the advantages of this new cut.
The sleeves are made of a lightly ribbed material while the front panel has got a micro-perforated material and a honeycomb mesh in the back. As a result, this innovative combination makes the R2 jersey very light (110gr) and very breathable.
The new Gregarius Ultra bib shorts have been refined to become the ultimate versatile shorts by using the new UF Knit44 ECO material, adding the new SM-Anatomic chamois insert and introducing a new garment construction.
100% recycled material
With a focus on a more eco-sustainable approach, the UF Knit44 material has been re-engineered to be a 100% recycled material. Most recycled materials use only a recycled yarn for the polyamide and keep a unoutched yarn for the elastane. In the new development of UF Knit44 ECO, only 100% recycled yarns have been chosen.
New chamois insert
The well-known Super Molded (SM) insert is a high performance chamois designed for a strong, substantial feel and total support. It has been updated by developing a full three-dimensional molding that better follows the anatomy of the human body and offers increased comfort on the bike. The foam padding has been calibrated to the pattern of varying densities and thicknesses in the perineal, ischial, genital and gluteal areas, resulting in an extremely sophisticated adjustment of its overall comfort. The insert uses a unique molding technique that produces smooth variations in padding thickness, significantly improving contact with the rider’s skin.
To improve the innovative feel of the shorts, a laser-cut finish has been introduced at the waist, which also gets rid of many unnecessary seams. In addition, the antistress panel now follows the three-dimensional construction of the chamois insert, creating a more anatomical interface with the human body.
